Bio

My name is Austin Nicholson. This will be my second year teaching fifth grade at CHIME. I have also previously taught in second and fourth grade classrooms before becoming part of the CHIME community. I received a B.A. in Liberal Studies and teaching credential from California State University, Northridge. When I am not at school I enjoy playing basketball, spending time with my family, and playing with my dog, Lola.

My goal as an educator is to create a classroom environment where students feel safe and respected. I hope to instill a lifelong love for learning in my students. I believe that all students can succeed when provided with the necessary tools. I look forward to the many successes we will share this school year.
