Biography

Welcome to Chime Charter Middle School! My name is Elia Reyes-Mahoney. This year will be my third year teaching at Chime Charter Middle School. This year I will have the opportunity to co-teach seventh grade in addition to eighth grade. I received my Education Specialist credential as well as a minor in Chicano Studies. I conducted my student teaching internship at C.H.I.M.E Charter Elementary School before becoming one of the special educators at C.H.I.M.E Middle School.

Philosophy

I fully believe in the philosophy of Inclusion. It is my belief that all students be fully included in a general education setting regardless of ability. We all have so much to learn from each other and this in itself is valued. I hope this year will be both successful and enjoyable for you. I truly do consider students, teachers, and parents a part of the team. Together we can make the transition from Middle School to High School successful.
