Bio

Hi, my name is Jessica Leonard and I have lived in southern California for most of my life. I attended Pepperdine University where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies along with my multiple subject teaching credential. Right out of college, I began working for LAUSD as an elementary school teacher. I taught first grade for five years and then was an instructional coach for one year. After those six years of working in LAUSD, I was hired here at CHIME and am ecstatic to be working in such a wonderful and collaborative community. I will be teaching fourth grade this year at CHIME. Currently, I am also earning my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, as well as an Administrative Credential at CSUN. For fun I enjoy shopping, going to the beach, country music, cooking, and baking. But, most of all I love spending time with my five adorable nephews, family, and friends. I look forward to an exciting year ahead!
