Bio

My name is Ashlea Harmon. I teach in Room 7 with Ms. Buchinsky. On June 6th my husband Peter and I welcomed our son Christian. We are more than enjoying being first time parents. I'm from Maryland but I have lived in LA for the past 3 years. I received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Towson University in Baltimore. I visit home frequently and love visiting my three nieces and eating crabs at my parent's house. This is my 4th year teaching 1st grade at CHIME. In addition to teaching and being a mommy, I love to watch movies with my husband (he's a screenwriter), take my pug Summer to the dog park, do yoga, and visit new restaurants. I really enjoy teaching first grade and look forward to working closely with my team and families throughout the year!
