Allison Cameron Gray joined the Board in 2010. Her association with the CHIME Institute
began when she attended CHIME’s preschool program in the early 90’s. Ms.
Cameron Gray is a contributing journalist to New Mobility magazine and Action magazine, a television actress,
and a standup comic at Los Angeles venues such as the Comedy Store and the
Improv. Her prior work experience includes four years as a featured columnist
for Kids on Wheels Quarterly.
She is a
volunteer with Shane’s Inspiration, a nonprofit organization whose mission is
to create universally accessible playgrounds and programs that integrate
children of all abilities. Her affiliations include Media Access and the Screen
Actors Guild (SAG). As a member of SAG, she is an alternate voting member of
the SAG I AM PWD diversity committee. She has had training in acting with Ellen
Gerstein and Jeffrey Tambor and comedy training with Judy Carter and was a
second place winner in the Ha Ha Café Comedy Contest.
Ms. Cameron
Gary graduated with honors from Birmingham High School and has attended Los
Angeles Valley Community College where she was consistently on the Dean’s List.
