Bio

Hello, and welcome to CHIME! My name is Lana Gadea. This will be my 4th year teaching 3rd grade at CHIME. I was drawn into the CHIME community as a student teacher where I worked in 1st and 3rd grade. The community of people working together to create an environment where every student thrives was so amazing that I could not see myself working anywhere else. Before becoming a part of the CHIME community, I attended UC Berkeley where I earned my B.A. in Psychology and California State University, Northridge, where I earned my Teaching Credential. I feel blessed to be a teacher. It is my goal for each student to feel successful and special each and every day. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, especially my husband and baby boy. I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
