Bio

Hello, my name is Amie Baral. I am a special education teacher and this is my fifth year teaching at CHIME. I am co-teaching in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade this year. I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies from Cal State University Northridge as well as my Education Specialist teaching credential. I worked at CHIME as a paraprofessional and continued with CHIME as a field work student and student teacher. I am privileged and honored to have completed my education within an inclusive community where every child is valued, respected, and seen for their abilities. I value my role in facilitating learning for all students. It is an honor to be a part of the lives of students and families and I strive to do my best.

I enjoy spending time at home with my family, which includes my husband Darren, and our two cats and dog. I love going to the beach, hiking, swimming, jogging, and have started my own vegetable garden.

 I look forward to the upcoming school year and working with your child.
