CHIME Programs:
The CHIME Institute administers four educational programs that provide
opportunities for student observation and participation:
- CHIME Infant & Toddler program
- CHIME Preschool & Kindergarten Inclusion Program
- CHIME Charter Elementary School
- CHIME Charter Middle School
Field Experience (Request Form)
The Center offers University students the opportunity to participate in CHIME programs, thus preparing the next generation of teachers to support all types of learners.
Demonstration (Additional Info)
CHIME programs demonstrate best practices in early, elementary, and middle school education. CHIME and CSUN faculty offer guidance and expertise to the broader educational community.
Outreach
The Center develops partnerships with community schools, provides professional development programs, and presents seminars to promote best educational practices that support all types of learners.

Guidelines for your fieldwork/observation experience
CHIME Institute programs are dedicated to bringing an inclusive education to all children. We serve a diverse population of children from birth to age 14 from a variety of communities.
CHIME Institute is affiliated with the Michael D. Eisner College of Education at California State University Northridge. CHIME Institute sites, serves as teaching
school for students in various college. As such, students from an assortment of education related programs come to CHIME to do student teaching, observations and to participate in fieldwork. If you are looking for a high quality experience
